Storyy Group X Out of School Alliance

We are very excited to announce that the Apprenticeship & Training arm of Storyy Group has partnered with Out of School Alliance!

Out of School Alliance is more than just a website; it is a community, a movement, and a network of support and advocacy. Since 2009, it has been supporting the sector, and members frequently express that being part of this community helps them feel less isolated and confident in reaching out for support whenever needed.

Out of School Alliance provides information, support, and a collective voice to organisations and individuals running out-of-school clubs. It offers guidance and resources for all types of providers, including breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, holiday clubs, sports or activity-based clubs, and playschemes. No matter the stage of their journey, providers can rely on OOSA for advocacy and support.

Membership unlocks access to all member-only content on the website, including a comprehensive set of documents, policies, and forms, as well as discounts and special offers from over 20 partner organisations. Members also receive expert Ofsted advice, monthly newsletters, and direct access to a team of experts. Through the exclusive OOSA Forum events, members have opportunities to share experiences and contribute directly to conversations at a senior level with the Department for Education and Ofsted. No other membership offers this combination of resources, expertise, and a commitment to driving positive change within the out-of-school sector.

As a ‘one-stop-shop’ for essential information, Out of School Alliance supports both experienced out-of-school club owners, staff, and committees, as well as those new to the sector. Its mission is to simplify the process of running out-of-school clubs, champion the needs of providers, ensure their voices shape policy, and work towards improving standards and recognition within the sector. By fostering a strong and united community, the Out of School Alliance helps enhance the quality of experiences for children attending these clubs.
