Safeguarding at Storyy

At Storyy Education, safeguarding is led centrally by the Head of Safeguarding, who oversees safeguarding practices across Storyy Education. Each individual site also has its own Designated Safeguarding Team, responsible for managing day-to-day safeguarding concerns, supporting students, and ensuring local procedures are followed effectively. This structure provides both consistent oversight across the organisation and responsive support within each setting

Managing Allegations

Storyy Group takes allegations made against staff seriously. There are two levels of allegations, concerns or allegations that may meet the harm threshold and those that do not, these are known as ‘low-level concerns’. If an allegation is made that any person who works with Storyy Group has

· Behaved in a way that has harmed a child, or may have harmed a child

· Possibly committed a criminal offence against or related to a child

· Behaved towards a child or children in a way that indicates he or she may pose a risk of harm to children, or

· Behaved or may have behaved in a way that indicates they may not be suitable to work with children

Then this is known as the ‘harm threshold’. These should be immediately reported to Natalie Lee, our Head of Safeguarding. Low level concerns are also reported to Natalie. All staff concerns are recorded on Cpoms Staff Safe.
