Storyy CIC
At Storyy CIC, we believe every young person deserves the chance to thrive, not just survive. We exist to back the ones who are often overlooked, creating meaningful opportunities that help them build confidence, connect with their community, and rewrite their own stories. Whether it’s through mentoring, holiday programmes, or bold interventions that meet them where they are, our work is about more than support, it’s about empowerment, impact, and real change that lasts.

What we are
We’re a community interest company on a mission to champion the most vulnerable young people in our local areas. Our work is rooted in community, driven by impact, and led by the belief that every young person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.
What we do
We create safe, inspiring spaces where young people feel like they belong, through mentoring, meaningful experiences, and purpose-driven programmes. Working alongside schools, local authorities, and other agencies, we identify young people who need extra support and offer interventions that meet them where they are.
We’re independent from Storyy Group’s Alternative Provision services, and can flex around young people’s lives, delivering outside of school hours, weekends, and during holidays, whenever they’re most likely to engage.

Holiday Activities & Food Programmes
Across several Berkshire local authorities, we deliver HAF (Holiday and Food) programmes tailored to secondary school students receiving benefits-related free school meals. These aren’t just activity days, they’re moments that matter. Young people join community-driven sessions filled with fun, connection, and new experiences. Every attendee enjoys a healthy lunch, with dietary needs thoughtfully catered for.
We run these programmes during the Easter, Summer, and Christmas holidays (excluding half terms). If you think your child is eligible, reach out to their school to find out more, places are accessed via a unique code.
Diversion & Disruption Mentoring
Designed for young people at risk of harm, our Diversion & Disruption Programmes take a bold and bespoke approach. We blend mentoring with adrenaline-based activities that disrupt patterns of disengagement, reduce risk, and reframe how young people see themselves and their potential.
From young people involved in the criminal justice system to those at risk of exploitation or anti-social behaviour, we tailor each programme to meet real needs. Mentoring wraps around the experience, before and after the programme, ensuring consistency, trust, and advocacy.
The results speak volumes. One programme delivered a 91% drop in reported anti-social behaviour within a specific area. The young people? They left more confident, energised, and open to new possibilities.

Looking ahead
Our vision is big, but our focus stays local. We’re here for young people from all backgrounds, and we’re always up for a conversation with professionals who are struggling to engage a young person or group.
At the heart of everything we do is reinvestment, putting time, funding, and energy back into our community, so young people feel empowered to show up, speak up, and lead change.
