To put it simply, your role will be to deliver high-quality apprenticeships to your caseload of learners giving them the best experience possible to upskill themselves in a positive environment. This role will specifically focus on the Residential Childcare sector delivering Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner and the Level 5 Children, Young People and Families Manager. Whilst our Head Office is in Berkshire & there will be a requirement for Face to Face Team meetings a few times a year this is a remote working role from Home with travel required to complete learner observations.

Responsibilities As a Residential Childcare tutor your responsibilities would include:
● To be available to deliver and support learning through formal scheduled high-quality teaching.
● To report accurately on the progress of both individuals and groups and to forward these to the relevant Programme Manager and key contact of the employment organisation on a monthly basis.
● To ensure that each learner portfolio is accurately completed, updated and maintained.
● To ensure effective continuous assessment and action planning of learners’ portfolios throughout their Programme and final assessment within the agreed limit.
● To assess and mark learner’s assignments, tests and examinations within the agreed timeframe, with clear and constructive feedback using the correct documentation and criteria.
● To be a role model throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
You: We’re looking for someone who loves tutoring, with experience in the Residential Childcare sector. You’ll ideally have a track record in this sector but we don’t believe in ruling out great people so we are interested in anyone who believes they have the expertise to fit this role two profiles we would particularly be interested in are people with this sector or mentor experience in these roles.

Qualifications
- Previous experience working with apprenticeships is highly desirable.
- Experience working or teaching in the Residential Childcare sector.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with learners, employers and colleagues.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning needs of all apprentices, including those with special educational requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A willingness to learn and adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs.
